Na meer dan twaalf jaar is hier de eerste Showaddywaddy-albumbox! Deze indrukwekkende collectie bevat meer dan 220 nummers verspreid over 13 cd's.

Hun avontuur begon met een winnend optreden in 'New Faces', dat destijds de 'Britain's Got Talent' van zijn tijd was. Het duurde niet lang voordat Showaddywaddy hun debuuthit, 'Hey Rock And Roll', uitbracht, en daarmee maakten ze geschiedenis in de popmuziek. In de jaren zeventig hadden ze meer Top 40-hits in het Verenigd Koninkrijk dan welke andere artiest of band ook. De verzameling wordt geleverd in een mooie box-in-box en omvat hun albums, te beginnen met het titelloze debuut uit 1974 tot aan 'Living Legends' uit 1983. Daarnaast zijn er drie extra albums opgenomen tussen 1996 en 2008, plus twee bonus-cd's die 44 niet-album singles, b-kanten en zeldzaamheden bevatten, waaronder TWEE ONGEHOORDE NUMMERS, 'Dot Dot Dot' en 'Three Good Reasons'. Ook is er een unieke mix van 'Out On The Town', geproduceerd door de beroemde GRAMMY® Award-winnende producer Roger Lomas. Deze set is verrijkt met liner notes van Showaddywaddy-expert Steve Thorpe, die een prachtig inzicht geeft in de reden waarom de band vandaag de dag nog steeds zo geliefd is en vaak uitverkocht is.

Deze collectie is tot stand gekomen in samenwerking met Dave Bartram, die de opname- en live-optredens van de band nog steeds beheert.
